Getting involved in Duck Corps is truly a way to create lasting impact in the surrounding Eugene-Springfield community, while getting to know other like-minded Ducks. In small teams, you will participate in weekly, hands-on service projects that promote community building and reflective engagement at local community organizations that are making a positive impact.

Duck Corps teams fall into five categories: education, public health, sustainability, poverty alleviation, and human rights. Service opportunities are open to all majors and interests. Duck Corps members participate in orientation and begin service during the second week of each term. Service is ongoing weeks 2–10 (during the week). We handle all logistics of service, including transportation.

Duck Corps Team Service Areas:

• EDUCATION: Teams serve to increase access and reduce barriers to quality education.
• PUBLIC HEALTH: Teams serve to ensure health and wellness of our community.
• SUSTAINABILITY: Teams serve to promote sustainable systems in our local community.
• POVERTY ALLEVIATION: Teams serve to meet immediate needs and address systemic issues of poverty.
• HUMAN RIGHTS: Teams serve to promote basic human rights and civil liberties.

All students must register for Duck Corps teams through Engage. All Duck Corps team registration pages will show any open spots.
