One-on-One Leadership Coaching
The Holden Center is now offering one-on-one consultations on six different leadership-related topics. Participants will spend approximately one hour taking a deep dive into their selected topic, providing the opportunity for deep reflection, gaining new perspectives, and learning new skills. To register for a consultation, click the button below, and we will reach out to you via email to schedule a meeting at a time that works best for you.
For spring term all consultations will be offered via Zoom. Consultations can also be offered to small groups or four or less. For groups larger than four, please consider one of our leadership workshops.
Balancing Life and Leadership: An essential part of effective leadership is prioritizing your well-being, which can sometimes feel challenging when we have a large list of commitments. This consultation will help you identify which types of self-care are most impactful for you, so you can prioritize your well-being while also fulfilling on all your obligations. As the consultation draws to a close, you will have identified small day-to-day changes that will making a lasting impact on your wellbeing.
Discovering Your Leadership Style: This consultation begins with identifying your unique leadership style (or reviewing your leadership style if you have already participated in our workshop). You will then take a deep dive into your style - understanding how it shows up in your day-to-day life, how you can use your style to maximize your effectiveness, how you work best with others, and how you can overcome obstacles typically associated with your Leadership Style. This workshop pairs well with a Holden Center Strengths Consultation.
Exploring Your Personal Values: This workshop begins by identifying your top 3-5 guiding values. We will then discuss how your values influence your life, including: how you can utilize them to boost your productivity, how our values have us interact with others, and identifying small changes you can make to become aligned with your values. Participants will leave this consultation empowered and inspired.
Imposter Syndrome: Regardless of who we are, imposter syndrome shows up in our lives in one way or another. This workshop aims to help you understand what imposter syndrome is, identify the unique ways you cope with imposter syndrome, and come up with ways you can overcome it — leaving you more confident, empowered, and effective.
Leading Your Peers: This workshop is aimed at individuals who occupy a leadership position amongst their peers. During the consultation we will: discuss the dynamics and challenges that arise while in your position and how to overcome them; identify your go-to strategies when overseeing peers; and come up with strategies on how you can be the most effective in your role.
Project Management: Do you have a large project you are currently working on, or would like to begin soon? Regardless of your project type (academic, personal, professional, etc.) this consultation will help you identify what needs to get done and how you can get it done by your deadline. You will leave this consultation with a clear map of your project plan, and the capacity to utilize our framework on any project you are working on.
