Position Description: This internship will be for administrative help in the office working with Karen Rainsong, the managing director of the Arts and Business Alliance of Eugene, who will oversee the work. The job involves varied activities and sometimes will involve work in the field, such as attending a booth, helping patrons at a fundraiser, running errands, or working with volunteers at an event. It is helpful if intern candidates have some knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, online social media, and Gmail. Duties may include things such as: sending emails, creating e-newsletters, sending letters, picking up and dropping off items, attending events and handing out materials, posting to Facebook or YouTube, making phone calls, and interacting with the public. Interns with proficiency in certain areas may be involved in event promotion and planning, creating marketing materials, volunteer coordination, and more. Interns should have some practical work experience in the field and be comfortable working on tasks alone or with others. Ability to meet deadlines and handle a fast-paced environment is a must.

Transportation Access: Within walking distance of the UO (1 mile or under)
Restriction(s) Details: Work is at the Eugene Chamber of Commerce. You do not need to bring your own computer, but a cell phone and reliable transportation is necessary.
